| We are only 1.1 miles from the city centre, a level 20 minutes walk. There are plenty of regular buses, or you can take a leisurely stroll along the Bath and Avon Canal to the town centre.
An alternative walk is through Victoria Park, taking in the glorious view of the Royal Crescent. From here you can pick up one of the many Open Top bus tours around the city. | There is a huge choice of restaurants in the city of Bath, which is less than 2 miles away, and some excellent pubs with really good food nearby.
Once you’ve seen the glories of Bath – for which 2 days is hardly enough, this is a wonderful centre for exploring in all directions. Within an hour’s drive, you can be in South Wales, at Stonehenge or Stourhead, in the heart of the Cotswolds, or at Wells Cathedral and the Somerset Levels.
Our family suite can just accommodate 5. It is one large double/twin bedroom in which is the TV,refreshment tray,wardrobe,etc and enough floor space to put up a folding Z bed or cot. Through a door is a much smaller room with a single bed, beneath which is a "guest bed" that pulls out for another one. The bathroom with shower is off the smaller room. |
