Well its hard enough to find a hotel with a family room for 5 or 6 people anywhere but even harder to find one near the airports. Gatwick seems to have them in abundance but finding one near any of the other UK Airports is challenging to say the least.
Let’s face it, there are lots of large families out there but it seems like we’re all fighting for the few hotels that can accommodate us, either that or pay for 2 rooms and spend the night separated.
Heathrow is one of the more challenging ones so if anyone knows of any hotels close to Heathrow that sleeps a family of 5 or more then please contact me and let me know:0) Here are some of those I managed to find:
Oakwood Guest House - Not technically one room but inter-connecting ones so you can have a bit of privacy as well as keeping an eye on the kids, very reasonably priced too. 5 mins from Heathrow
Crompton Guest House - The family room sleeps 5 people and contains one double, one single and bunk beds. En suite with good power shower over bath. 10 -15 minutes form Heathrow and up to 15 days free parking!
Cobham Lodge - The family room can sleep up to 5 people and consists of a double bed, single bed and a pull out sofa. 30 mins from Heathrow
Best Western Chiswick Palace & Suites - Apartment that sleeps 5 and consists of 3 bedrooms, 5 beds, living space and kitchenette. They also have a family room that sleeps 6 and consists of 1 king bed, 1 single, 2 sofa beds and twin bed.
