I decided to start this blog to document my progress with finding rooms for families of 5 or more. I started Room for 5 because I was so frustrated at the lack of family rooms available for families of 5 or more (read more in my about me page) so as you can imagine I knew this wasn’t going to be an easy process. I first started out by looking in search engines for keywords like, “family room for 5″ , ”family room sleeps 5″ to find rooms thats were available, then I used the same keywords but added key areas like London, Paris & major Airports. It wasn’t long before I had exhausted all options on the search engines. I have been using hotel search engines and actually putting specific requests in but I have to say they are not helpful. Even when I key in room = 1, guests = 5, the results were disappointing and not acurate. I have emailed thousands of hotels to find these sought after rooms and after 4 months I now have over 500 hotels listed worldwide on Room for 5. Most of these rooms are not even listed on the hotels website so people don’t know about them so i am sure there are lots more out there, on with the quest!!
